The Athens and Sparta course examines the history of the Greek city states of Athens and Sparta and how they compare to and their impact on America’s founding. The Greeks, specifically these two city states exemplify early political life and early sense of duty and the public good. This course examines each city state, through war and peace looking at both their political and social life.
